Thank you for being back onboard. We build adorable abodes.           Adorable Abodes are small living units. One might call them “tiny homes” but no, they are bigger and better.Standing on their own foundation, they can be 10ft wide and easily over 20ft long! There are several models to choose from, starting at 30 sqm to about 62 sqm. Built in modules, they can be either transported to a site of your choice and set-up, or (awaiting approval), they will be built and set-up right here on the Beaver Pond property. Nicely tucked away from the over populated city in undisturbed nature. They are fully self-sufficient and independent from utility sources. Bridge:           Yes, the first bridge has been finished. There are plenty of water pools around here. Also, we have two beautiful brooks on the Beaver Pond property. We want to build several bridges over the ponds just for you (the community). The one which is finished, is an impressive 38 ft long! Completely hand crafted and welded here are our shop. It’s hard to tell what kind of load it will carry, short of trying until it collapses, but I figured there must be a better way. So I thought, if I were to invite friends, and have them all lined up on the bridge…..no, not good, perhaps I have no friends after this test. Ok… if I invite some not-so-good friends and tried again…well maybe that test would work, but before I rounded those people up, Lishawnda came to my rescue! Here  she rode her horse over the bridge, so there. Test completed. Beaver Pond Water Fall.   Yes, we have that too. It is now July, and it is still going strong…… until the beavers are at it again and try to plug “the leak”. Model Abode:        Interior finishing – no news here, we just did not do anything, except installing the dormers. Exterior finishing – now here is a fun project. We have been battling the heat this week and working on our sunburns, but fret not, there is a reason for it! Stay tuned for next weeks blog to see our progress. Outhouses.          There are commonly three distinctive ideas how to deal with human fecal matters (I call it Poop), outside the usual septic system approach, namely by composting. We want to know if and how they work. So we decided to build each system in a different outhouse. Therefore, if anyone raises the subject, we can proudly say this is no bullshit talk, but we know our stuff! No pun intended.          The first one we just finished up, and here it is. ……………..An outhouse Adorable Abode style. What else would you have expected? Big enough for a group poop, just in case you do not or cannot wait any longer to use it, and it is occupied already.
